Recycled Wool Mittens

These wonderfully warm mittens are made from recycled sweaters! Wool is the warmest substance on earth--it keeps your hands warm even when it is soaking wet. Don't miss your chance to be warm this winter. You can be GREEN and fun at the same time. This is our "Earthentic" label.

Only $15.00 plus shipping--you can't do any better than that unless you make them yourself!
Wonderful large blue bowl and platter by Kathy Kamm of Highland, IL. Hand made pottery that warms you just to look at it. We have blues and greens. This would make a really nice Christmas gift. I am thinking of buying it myself!

Large Silk Shawl

Hand-dyed, beautiful silk shawl. This is a lovely, large piece of silk that wraps around your shoulders in a splash of color. 72 inches long by 22 inches wide.

Reitz Baby

Another portrait, one of my favorites! Things are hoppin' here in portrait world.

And Greenville has curbside recycling! Thanks so much to Linda Peters and the committee for having the courage to change our world for the better!

And now the prospect of the Bass Mollett House being restored instead of torn down. What a great year! Let's keep it up. There is a meeting tonight at 8:00, Krober Room, Greenville College.

Also spinning night is tonight at the shop! All those with spinning wheels and a weakness for fiber are welcome.

Artist -- Henri Renard

This is a painting by a french artist, with the last name Henri Renard. I am searching for information about him because I have this painting and would like to know more about the artist and the painting. If you have any information, please contact me through this blog.

The back of the painting has this little blurb...
"Henri Renard: Born in Paris, 1920. His talent manifested itself while still in elementary school. It was already then and there that he felt his vocation was to become an artist. After elaborate art schooling, he moved into the circl of the Montmartre impressionists and stayed with them ever since. He developed a style of his own over the years which is very forceful and met with a wide reception in the art world."
